Vijay Kumar Gupta, F.C.A., MBA is a senior financial and PPP expert with more than 32 years of professional experience in infrastructure advisory, contract management, dispute resolution support, project finance, and international taxation. He has extensive expertise in BOT, HAM, and PPP infrastructure projects and has advised Government authorities, concessionaires, lenders, and private sector developers on financial, contractual, and commercial aspects of large infrastructure projects.

He has worked closely with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and other public sector institutions in development and structuring of financially viable concession frameworks, project risk allocation mechanisms, concession agreements, financial models, and project implementation strategies. His experience includes review of DPRs and feasibility reports, traffic and revenue forecasting, project cost optimisation, financial due diligence, concessionaire negotiations, and assessment of construction, revenue, operational, and land acquisition risks.

Mr. Gupta has significant experience in handling contractual and financial disputes arising out of infrastructure and concession agreements and has assisted clients in claim evaluation, dispute analysis, commercial negotiations, and arbitration support. He has also advised on financial and commercial issues during project execution and financial closure stages.

In addition to infrastructure and PPP advisory, he possesses extensive expertise in international taxation, transfer pricing, and cross-border dispute resolution, and has represented multinational corporations in audits and litigation matters. He has worked on projects funded by the World Bank, ADB, and USAID across India and international jurisdictions including Iran, Mauritius, Indonesia, Nepal, and Canada.
